Anyway, have you seen a miracle happening in front of your eyes ever?
I have! At least one.
My name is Laadi Ojas. Welcome to “Skeletal Leap: A Living Adventure”.
Skeletal Leap transforms one’s life into a personal heaven.
Today’s episode will tell you about a miracle in the making, creating a personal heaven in life.
Miracles are patterns, just patterns.
It is only that they are seen very rarely.
They surprise us because we haven’t yet been accustomed to seeing them in the normal course of perception. Still, there is not much difference between the two. A pattern is a pattern is a pattern.
I often wonder why normal patterns don’t surprise us too. I think it is because we take them for granted and hence they don’t ignite our curiosity to question them ever. Taking a thing for granted is a kind of belief that we often fall prey to. Beliefs stop us from looking into the so-called normal patterns a little deeper.
Anyway, have you seen a miracle happening in front of your eyes ever?
I have! At least one.
Possibly the most promising and wide-reaching of them all! In fact, the scope of this miracle is so promising for our species that I feel an urgent need to share it with you.
It simply promises to be the next major evolution of Homo sapiens. It also promises to be a panacea for all lifestyle diseases of humanity on this planet.
Big claims! Huh?
I know. But the miracle is equally big…potentially. It is big in the sense that it hasn’t yet fully been explored for its far-reaching potential. It is also to be assessed in a widespread scientific manner under a strict laboratory kind of testing. Its results, though, are instantaneous and 100% every single time it is performed. Regardless, it needs to be performed more often than it is right now. Like with breathing where we are always sure of filling our lungs with oxygen every time we inhale. Once this miracle becomes as commonly employed as breathing, it will start being taken as the so-called normal pattern. And then, no more laboratory tests will ever be required to prove it.
Well, so what exactly is this stuff that I have been going on and on about?
I call it Skeletal Leap!
Skeletal Leap
It means taking the next leap in our evolution by changing our skeletal posture, 7 million years after our predecessors adopted it first. That was when hominins had turned from quadrupeds to bipeds for the first time. Bipedal evolution started a new revolution on this planet.
It was a real miracle. No other animal had ever stood up on its twos consciously before. This step of theirs was certainly a big leap that they had spontaneously taken though in conscious phases. It might not have been comfortable for them for a long time to come. But it certainly gave them tremendous opportunities for unlimited newer skills to master.
Had they not taken their first skeletal leap, we would never have been able to live a human life like we are living today. Thanks to them for that!
Smize: Smiling with Eyes
More recently, I came across a newly coined word in a different context that hurled me toward a new Skeletal Leap. It is called ‘Smize’. Smize, a word coined by Tyra Banks, means smiling with your eyes. The way smize came to me was a miracle in itself. According to Macmillan Dictionary…
“Even if you haven‘t yet come across the word smize, the concept it represents will be familiar to you. It is the warmth and positivity that a person can instinctively convey by contorting the muscles in and around their eyes. The verb smize was coined in 2009 by US model and television personality Tyra Banks. She had first used it on reality TV series “America‘s Next Top Model“. Banks used the term when teaching contestants to bring expression to their eyes. It was whilst keeping the rest of their face neutral, a customary practice in modeling. Though the word is novel, the concept it represents is timeless. It had already been observed in Renaissance portrait art through to the silent movies of the 1920s. That was the time when stars such as Charlie Chaplin were the masters of the smize. Smizing is also linked to the 1960s concept of a micro expression. It was a term popularized more recently by US psychologist Paul Ekman. Paul has been a pioneer in the study of emotions and their relation to facial expressions. Ekman describes micro expressions as involuntary facial expressions, which occur within a fraction of a second, often without our knowing. In fact, they cause ‘emotional leakage‘, i.e., expose our true feelings.”

So, Tyra had shot her arrow in 2009.
It might have kept moving straight in the direction it was shot. It did so until it hit me in 2022 in another part of the planet in a totally different connotation.
Though it hit me hard, it didn’t hurt me at all. It rather invigorated me. Tyra might have coined it flirtatiously in her world, but it hurled me deep into Skeletal Leap.
How come?
I immediately spotted the miracle hidden inside the very concept of the word.
Those days, I was busy with my research in an absolutely different discipline. It was only later that I came to realize that both were not really different in their basic essence. In fact, they were the two sides of the same coin.
You might wonder what it was that I was doing. Well, I was finalizing the subtleties in the physical procedure of achieving a mind-body state called central fixation. It was central fixation of the eyes, of the body and of the mind.
I just took a temporary break from the heavy stuff and set my eyes into a casual, intentional smize. I spontaneously discovered that I had set my eyes in the exact mode of central fixation of the eyes. And I immediately spotted the similarity between the two.
I was smizing.
I was smiling with my eyes. It added a beautiful shine to them.
By now you might have started wondering what central fixation means.
Central Fixation
Central fixation means maneuvering the eyes, the body and the mind for doing whatever we are doing in the best way possible.
Central Fixation Of The Eyes
Central fixation of the eyes means seeing what our eyes are looking at most clearly. This happens when the image of the object being seen is created exactly at the fovea on the retina.
Central Fixation Of The Body
Central fixation of the body means executing what our body is doing, the best possible way. This happens when the body centers itself at its core (‘hara’ in Japanese), two inches below the navel.
Central Fixation Of The Mind
Central fixation of the mind means focusing on what our brain is thinking most sharply. This happens when the mind empties itself, enabling the brain to take complete charge of thinking.
All three of them have separate skeletal posturing codes taking one to the said states of central fixation.
Smize just follows one of these codes that has to do with central fixation of the eyes. But its beauty is that it is always present as an essential part of the other two codes as well. In fact, it automatically slips into those two.
Whichever mode of central fixation we are in, we always automatically start smiling with our eyes.
The subject does merit further investigation.
And so do skeletal meditations, Smize being just one of the many out there!
Almost 100 years ago, the famous ophthalmologist Dr W.H. Bates first wrote about central fixation. Here is a quote from him…
“Not only do all errors of refraction and all functional disturbances of the eye disappear when it sees by central fixation, but many organic conditions are relieved or cured. I am unable to set any limits to its possibilities. I would not have ventured to predict that glaucoma, incipient cataract and syphilitic iritis could be cured by central fixation; but it is a fact that these conditions have disappeared when central fixation was attained. Relief was often obtained in a few minutes, and, in rare cases, this relief was permanent. Usually, however, a permanent cure required more prolonged treatment. Inflammatory conditions of all kinds, including inflammation of the cornea, iris, conjunctiva, the various coats of the eyeball and even the optic nerve itself, have been benefited by central fixation after other methods had failed. Infections, as well as diseases caused by protein poisoning and the poisons of typhoid fever, influenza, syphilis and gonorrhoea, have also been benefited by it. Even with a foreign body in the eye there is no redness and no pain so long as central fixation is retained. Since central fixation is impossible without mental control, central fixation of the eye means central fixation of the mind. It means, therefore, health in all parts of the body, for all the operations of the physical mechanism depend upon the mind. Not only the sight, but all the other senses—touch, taste, hearing and smell—are benefited by central fixation. All the vital processes—digestion, assimilation, elimination, etc.—are improved by it. The symptoms of functional and organic diseases are relieved. The efficiency of the mind is enormously increased. The benefits of central fixation already observed are, in short, so great that the subject merits further investigation.”

Skeletal Meditations
Skeletal meditations are physical meditations concerned with posturing skeletal joints the way they ideally evolved to be postured supporting bipedal evolution. These are physical meditations aimed at achieving central fixation as opposed to the mental ones presently in vogue. They have a plus point in that, being a physical phenomenon, they are tangible and direct enough to grasp and practice.
Intangible phenomena can very easily go vague and enter the zone of confusion and complexity. On the contrary, tangible phenomena can always be measured and hence remain self-regulatory, always keeping themselves well-defined. That is the reason skeletal meditations are simple and direct in their procedures and the results they achieve.
Skeletal meditations hold great promises when executed through the three procedures of central fixation, namely, central fixation of the eyes, central fixation of the body and central fixation of the mind.
In its entirety, I have named it Skeletal Leap. I call it the mother of all meditations on earth.
Skeletal Leap investigates the integration of skeletal re-posturing with central fixation to address various human concerns. It works by maneuvering the skeleton to achieve its ideal posture, equally in its static as well as dynamic states.
Evolutionarily speaking, the human skeleton underwent an unprecedented extent of transformation during bipedal evolution in an extremely short prehistoric span of time.
This transformation meant that our ancestors’ front legs turned free to eventually become hands.
It gave them way more opportunities leading them to innovate newer kinds of actions. They started mastering these newer actions that no other animal on the planet could, through the entire history of evolution.
Such a transformation certainly required newer skills as well.
The process of learning newer skills might have started increasing the sizes of their brains too. This can also be construed as a new hypothesis to explain the unprecedented growth of the human brain in a short span of time…evolutionarily speaking.
An intelligent animal was in the process of evolving for the first time on the planet! It certainly gave them a decisive edge over their competitors on land and in water.
But it all came with a price tag they had to pay for it, maybe unknowingly.
And it was not a one-time payment.
We, their successors, are still paying that price each and every day of our lives. Even after 7 million years of our first venture into it!
And the price was that this leap in evolution turned the entire length of our torsos from a horizontal orientation to a vertical one. When the torso was horizontally oriented, it was supported on four legs. There were almost no further pulls of gravity on it. As it came to a vertical orientation, gravity started pulling it down way more than before. It started pulling the joints of our skeleton down, especially on its upper parts which swung into the air without any solid support beneath.
The main victims were the skull, the shoulders, the backbone, the thoracic diaphragm, the hips and the knees.
Also, as the brain further evolved, it gave birth to negative emotions along with positive ones that joined hands with gravity. They played an extra role in tucking these pulled-down joints ‘in’, resulting in contracting the muscles attached to them. All this resulted in these joints staying pulled down and tucked in rather than staying up and out.
Our skeleton got habitually postured in this deformed state as opposed to its ideal postural evolution. And we have been living with the same deformed posture of the skeleton every single day since then.
The downward pulls and inward tucks are inflicted on the rest of the skeleton through its joints. These joints are the points to which muscles are attached as well. These deformations forcibly contract or unnecessarily stretch these muscles and keep them so, beyond their natural state, perennially.
As a result, the said muscles get rigidified in those forcibly contracted or unnecessarily stretched lengths of their tissues. In case of perennial contraction, they no more sit relaxed even when they are not supposed to do any work. And vice versa - in case of perennial stretch, they go lethargic even when they are supposed to stay contracted. With the passage of time, they habitually get stuck in those unnatural stances. These unnatural stances keep us lethargic as well as tired all day long.
On top of it, they also have nerve endings and blood vessel endings attached to them. As muscle shapes get distorted, so do the nerves and the blood vessels in their vicinity.
The Vagus Nerve: Communication between The Gut and The Brain
The vagus nerve, which is the biggest nerve in the body, is the worst affected of them all. This tenth cranial nerve has very many sensory and motor branches going to many important internal organs.
It is designed to do the most important job of establishing a dialogue between the gut and the brain. But when it gets deformed owing to the skeletal deformation, its function gets seriously compromised.
This is a good place to consider the two major approaches that have informed the human endeavor to make sense of pretty much anything - materialistic and vitalistic.
As per the materialistic approach, the vagus nerve is designed to establish an uninterrupted communication between the gut and the brain. As a result, it optimizes the flow of life energy, keeping us healthy and energetic.
Kundalini: The Life Energy
As per the vitalistic approach, this life energy is called Kundalini in the ancient Chakra System first originated in the Indian subcontinent. It is designed to flow via the central nerve passing through the spine, called Sushumna in Sanskrit language. Sushumna is the non-physical harmonized state of its constituent nerves, Ida and Pingala. It is exactly like the so-called vagus nerve actually comprising ventral vagus and dorsal vagus in English as its real biological constituents.
Lately, there has been a widespread debate raging on a burning issue in Chakra parlance. The topic is whether Ida and Pingala are the same nerves as ventral vagus and dorsal vagus or not. And if they are same, what is the equivalent of the non-physical harmonized state Sushumna in vagus parlance.
The majority opinion stands in clear favor of their congruity. The parallel of Sushumna has been conceived to be a harmonized state of the two constituent vagus nerves, ventral vagus and dorsal vagus. This harmonized state is simply known as a singular vagus nerve.
In my own personal experience, I found the surges of the rising energy clearly belonging to the two parlances interchangeably. I always sensed the rising energy of Kundalini in the Chakra parlance as a sudden uninterrupted communication between the gut and the brain initiated by a harmonized vagus nerve. It energizes the base of the pelvis with a sexual connotation. And exactly at the same time, it energizes the top of the head with a spiritual connotation emptying my mind. The vagal tone goes up and visual perception becomes extremely acute. I personally have no doubt on the question of their congruity.
Hence, I will be using the terms Sushumna Nadi and vagus nerve interchangeably throughout the podcast. It will help me integrate the materialistic and the vitalistic approaches as one single whole in the Chakra parlance. And it does make sense to me that the truth lies somewhere in between the two parlances…in no man’s land.
In order for Kundalini to flow through Sushumna uninterrupted, it needs to be in its original undeformed shape. But as we have seen above, nerves also get deformed with postural deformities of the skeleton.
Hence Sushumna is not able to let Kundalini efficiently flow uninterrupted through it to the crown chakra. The flow of Kundalini gets blocked on its way to rise up through Sushumna. As per the materialistic approach, it is quite parallel to the communication from gut to brain via vagus nerve getting blocked. This communication blockage is detrimental although parts of it leak through as non-uniform trickles.
These non-uniform trickles are certainly not sufficient to keep us healthily energetic enough in our life. They, however, save us from turning dead instantaneously. (It is quite logical. The vitalistic approach toward life considers Kundalini as the basic life energy instilling life into matter. Hence an absolute absence of its flow through Sushumna is bound to kill the organism instantly.) In fact, it holds good for both explanatory approaches, the materialistic approach and the vitalistic approach.
With this lack of life energy or neural communication in our system, we become prone to contracting many lifestyle diseases. They affect our crucial internal organs and their systems negatively not only anatomically but physiologically as well. The worst victims are our skeletal, nervous, muscular, respiratory, endocrine, immune, cardiovascular, urinary, integumentary, reproductive, and digestive systems.
It ends up turning life into a painful experience rather than a joyful excursion on the planet. There is no fun living life with an extremely limited amount of energy. It compels us to participate in its activities miserly even though we love doing them abundantly.
Living an abundant life is the real fun of life. We need abundance of energy to enjoy the abundance of gifts life has in store for us.
As per the vitalistic approach, we need a full flow of Kundalini rising through Sushumna up to the crown chakra. It imparts us with perennial joy of perception and action in whatever we do. And as per the materialistic approach, we do need a full neural communication between the gut and the brain.
Which points in Sushumna does Kundalini get interrupted at?
Generally speaking, there are 7 of them between the pelvis and the top of the head. They are called chakras. They are like 7 gates which are open when the 7 chakras are open. But if the chakras are partially or almost completely closed, the gates in Sushumna follow suit.
Chakras: Blocking The Flow of Energy
What are chakras?
The word chakra literally means a wheel in the shape of a circle.
Chakras, when they are closed, are anatomical deformities in functional groups of internal body organs. These are the groups of skeletal joints along with muscles, nerves and blood vessels attached to them. The vagus nerve is also a major part of them. In the Chakra parlance, they block Kundalini from moving up through Sushumna to the crown chakra in a streamlined flow. As a result, it starts rotating in a circle, like a vortex, at the location of the block rather than moving straight ahead. That is why the said blocks are called chakras.
Open chakras have no deformities and no blocks in the way of Kundalini rising up through Sushumna to the crown chakra. In fact, when open, they don’t even exist and, therefore, it has been my contention that they shouldn’t even be called chakras at those points.
The above definitions of closed and open chakras are not stereotypical definitions like the ones showing up all over the Internet. Such definitions keep blowing the same old trumpet. They define chakras as the centers of energy. Nothing can be farther from the truth. Chakras are chakras, only when they are closed. Open chakras are no chakras at all. So, chakras only exist as villains and there is no version of them that is a hero. And we should take care to paint them in their correct perspective.
My definitions above are, in fact, the results of my firsthand experience with the way these chakras behave and function. These are also the result of my experience with Kundalini flowing up uninterrupted through Sushumna.
We, Homo sapiens, are the ones that have collectively developed chakras (which automatically means they are closed, remember!).
Now, the time has come for us to take the next major leap in Homo sapiens evolution.
And we are an intelligent species now. Hence we can certainly activate this next phase of evolution way better than we did the first one 7 million years ago.
Every single Homo sapiens needs to activate this next phase of evolution individually. But for this to take place, each Home sapiens needs to have the practical knowledge of how to activate it correctly. One single slight mistake and the entire skeletal maneuver may just go absolutely fruitless.
This maneuver is a very subtle skeletal re-posturing that makes it possible for us to take the Skeletal Leap. That is why I call it the mother of all meditations on earth. At times, even the difference of a few millimeters of skeletal maneuver is sufficient enough to create a totally new experience. The experience can be that of perception, action or the flow of energy in the vicinity of the maneuver. These slight, tiny maneuvers at specific skeletal points make all the difference on earth. In fact, it is a series of skeletal meditations that needs to be done under proper guidance.
These skeletal guided meditations are purely biological in their form and structure. But they are real miracles! They have a miraculous potential that allows Kundalini energy or neural communication to start flowing uninterrupted through the body with proper breathing. There are various skeletal postural adjustments to be made for various purposes. In chakra parlance, this would be considered the ‘opening of chakras’.
We need to make these skeletal meditations our first nature 24x7x365. It is to be done by keeping our skeletal posture ready and relaxed at all its joints, together. Each skeletal meditation can become our first nature leading us to a perennial state of the said meditation. From that point on, we would not need to sit for that particular skeletal meditation ever again. It would effortlessly become a part and parcel of our very existence. Each of these skeletal meditations, then, would essentially end up granting us local salvations at its intended level. Going up along their hierarchical levels, it would then become readily possible to achieve holistic salvation as well.
Once there, we would only need to ensure that we never fall back into our old skeletal posture again.
Guided Meditations
That is what Skeletal Leap will try to investigate further ahead. We will come up with specific insights into guided meditations that can achieve:
Spiritual Awakening | Kundalini Awakening | Chakra Opening | Instant Eyesight Improvement | Hara (nabhi kendra or core) Centering | Mindfulness through Emptying The Mind
Skeletal Leap’s guided meditations have been designed to address pretty much all concerns Homo sapiens have, as listed ahead:
