7 Chakras And Their Harmful Effects On Your Life!
I started my journey to understanding the chakra discipline mentioning 7 chakras in our body after I coincidentally healed my lifelong myopia at age 53 instantly, in the year 2004.
In fact, I had always keenly desired for such a miracle to happen since my early childhood. I had even tried my best to heal my myopia with the help of naturopathy, Bates method, meditation, yoga and any other way that I had thought could have helped. And I had miserably failed every single time.
But now when the said miracle had done it on its own, my innate curiosity wouldn’t let me accept this gift without exactly knowing how I was suddenly blessed with it.
I would simply not take anything for granted. My curiosity was indomitable. I decided to do my research on the miracle that had blessed me with this gift.
It took me quite a few years while I scoured through literature on whichever topics I suspected I could find an answer. These included ophthalmology, meditation, naturopathy, yoga and many more but none could explain the miracle I had stumbled upon.
Then I got a reference of an ancient system named chakra discipline that mentioned 7 chakras in its scriptures. As one of these 7 chakras was named third eye chakra, it attracted me intuitively. I felt it could help me in my pursuit to know what my eyes had gone through.
But it being an esoteric system, it talked about their existence in ethereal body alone. This disappointed me as it turned the entire discipline into mysticism without any clear explanation of its procedures.
Then I found another discipline that talked about muscular armors founded by Wilhelm Reich who had segmented them as ocular (eye-related), oral, cervical, thoracic, diaphragmatic, abdominal and pelvic.
Surprisingly, they were the same segments that chakra discipline also segmented its 7 chakras in, though in the ethereal body and not in the physical one.
It gave me a ray of hope that chakras could also (or actually) be existing there in the physical body just like the muscular armors were.
My Story of Mastering Chakra Discipline
I decided to do my research trying to observe their existence in the physical body alone on my own without depending on its esoteric and mystical approach.
I succeeded in discovering my own chakra procedures which were more scientific in their approach than what those ancient scriptures had professed. I could get a clear association of the coincidental miracle I had stumbled upon with the procedure I was trying to develop.
Ultimately I came to discover that it was through spontaneously opening my third eye chakra and my crown chakra that my body had done this miraculous feat of healing my eyesight instantaneously.
I didn’t stop at healing my myopic eyesight alone. I decided to master the chakra discipline in its depth in order to come up with its entire potential out. Finally, I came up with a methodical system that not only took care of vision correction but also of almost every single lifestyle disease.
I named my methodical system Skeletal Leap and have been training people to heal their lifestyle diseases since then.
Now, before moving further, let me clarify what all gossip is going on in the chakra discipline. I will not be regurgitating what all misconceptions are getting spread all around us in the chakra parlance. I will rather explain my firsthand authentic experiences that I do know are true from my personal research supported by the results I received.
Let’s proceed...
Misconceptions About 7 Chakras
There is a misconception about 7 chakras of their being the centers of energy at their locations in the body doing rounds on the Internet, which is just not true.
7 Chakras are not the centers of energy; they are rather the suckers of it. They suck energy by offering resistance to the uninhibited flow of cosmic energy named kundalini in its route from the root chakra where it enters the body to move up to the crown chakra where it leaves the body to enter it through the root chakra again.
It could equally be the physical bio-energy known as gut to brain communication in its route from the gut (located in the vicinity of the root chakra) where it enters from the organs in the gut to move up to the brain (located in the vicinity of the crown chakra).
It is something like electricity flowing continuously from the source to the appliance and then back to the source again in order to make the next round continuously. But if the circuit is broken somewhere on its way, it stops flowing through it whether it is kundalini via sushumna nadi or else the communication via the vagus nerve.
Same is the case with the cosmic energy aka kundalini or the bio-energy aka neural communication responsible to keep life running energetically, which gets blocked if it passes through any one of the 7 chakras that is closed. It starts revolving there in circles rather than flowing linearly to the location of the next chakra. That’s why these locations are called chakras meaning circles in English.
Even a closed chakra cannot fully block the flow of kundalini or else the communication between the gut and the brain via vagus nerve, and a certain amount of it leaks up to carry on its journey to the location of the next chakra although its energy is seriously reduced in the process. Hence the person concerned is left with less of life energy at his/her disposal. If kundalini totally stops making rounds of the body, the person simply goes dead.
So, when people talk of awakening kundalini or re-establishing gut to brain communication, they think they are opening up a new flow of energy in the body. That’s not true. Kundalini is always flowing through the body. The only problem with its flow is that it seriously gets weakened owing to the closed chakras on its way.
We need to strengthen it again for which we need to open as many of these 7 chakras as are lying closed in their locations.
What is exactly meant by chakras being closed or else open?
Chakras are chakras, only when they are closed. Open chakras are no chakras at all.
When chakras are there, they are villains more than heroes. And we should take care to paint them in the right perspective!
What on earth initiated the existence of these chakras in the human body in the first place?
We, Homo sapiens, are the ones that have collectively developed chakras (which automatically means they are closed, remember!).
It all started with the greatest revolution in the domain of evolution when our ancestors stood on their two feet instead of four around 4-7 million years ago.
Prior to that, they moved on their four legs like all other mammals like them did.
As they did so, the entire orientation of their skeleton changed from horizontal to vertical.
Hence it needed to evolve in an entirely different way moving forward from there.
The vertebral column and the skull which were oriented horizontally before turned vertical now.
As this happened, gravity started pulling them down rather than staying up way more than before, especially on their joints.
Also as a result of bipedal evolution, with an extremely fast evolutionary development of brain, new emotions came into existence both, negative as well as positive. They joined hands with gravity in tucking the same joints in rather than staying out.
It resulted in the skeleton getting dropped down and tucked in distorting the double S shape of the vertebral column distorting the main nerves passing through it. The vagus nerve was the biggest victim of this distortion through getting its anatomy distorted semi-permanently.
The new vertical orientation required an abundance of life-energy to fight against the onslaughts of gravity and negative effects of emotions whether they were negative or else positive. They were just not natural.
The stress of life, both biological and psychological, would often rob them of this abundance of energy, falling them victims to house these distortions in the joints of their skeletons.
An affected anatomy causes an affected physiology (or neurology) obviously.
It happened at 7 different locations in the vertebral column. And these 7 different locations are actually the 7 chakras of today.
People have shrouded this topic in obscurity and mystery making it an esoteric discipline simply to hide their ignorance about it as well as to make it financially profitable to them.
The fact is that a closed chakra simply means a rigidified group of muscles and nerves surrounding a group of internal organs working physiologically in connection with one another. As the rigidified muscles exert a constant pressure on them, they are no more able to carry on their physiological tasks with their full efficiency.
That’s what the reason of energy getting obstructed at those points is by going around in circles in order to make an attempt to resolve the physiological issues going on in the area.
The energy flow gets hampered resulting in turning the person much less energetic than one can ideally be.
The next question that arises is why after all these groups of muscles go rigidified in the first instance.
A closed root chakra disrupts the anatomy and hence the physiology of the pelvis, hip and the lower limb disrupting pelvic, hip, knee, ankle and subtalar joints with interphalangeal articulations of feet and associated muscles, nerves and arteries.
A closed sacral chakra comes into existence through dropping the sacral vertebrae down and thus distorting the lower S of the double S shape of vertebral column.
Solar plexus chakra comes into existence by dropping L1 vertebra and tucking it in, compressing thoracic diaphragm throughout its length.
Positioning Pectoralis major and Pectoralis minor muscles contracted turns the heart chakra closed.
When we keep the deltoid muscle postured like in action by the anterior (clavicular) or intermediate (acromial) fibers, it closes the throat chakra.
Keeping frontalis and temporalis muscles contracted close the third eye chakra and the crown chakra successively.
It all starts with stress in the mind perceiving a danger from some corner to any of its concerns.
Why do some people have more stress whereas some others have much less of it with another few not having it at all?
Stressors posing as dangers to the mind’s concerns are more or less same for everyone given that they all are living under the similar socio-economic conditions.
It all deals with the psychology of mind giving birth to all the concerns it has.
Stress doesn’t lie with the outside stressors; it rather lies with the concerns of the mind that feel threatened by this problem or that.
When one feels threatened, one tends to go defensive not only in the mind but also in the body in order to face the onslaught of the threat.
Certain groups of muscles contract themselves in order to defend the body and certain other groups of muscles get contracted in order to attack if need be.
Since the stressors are perennial exactly like the concerns of the mind are, the muscles keep continuing their contracted stances indefinitely.
With the passage of time these muscles get fixated in their contracted stances resulting in sets of rigidified muscle groups all along the body.
It affects the body posture in a way that turns it in and drops it down in the areas where these 7 chakras are located. The body assumes a posture that is a dropped-down and turned-in posture rather than a risen-up and turned-out posture that it naturally is designed to be.
It further affects the physiology of the body and the psychology of the mind resulting in various lifestyle diseases in the long run.
On top of it, it’s not only your personal health that gets negatively affected by these compromised chakras.
Since society is an aligned group of individuals, individual body chakras also turn into collective sociocultural chakras.
It further affects the sociology of the society along with social institutions and their value systems. They effect all social institutions including money, business, politics, marriage, sports, countries, value systems, education, specializations and religion. Their corruption reflects in all the social ills that you see all around you on the planet.
The life energy further takes a dip strengthening the harmful effects of 7 chakras on our life and your life along with our social institutions too.
No one is spared.
What’s the way out to open all these 7 chakras in one single go in order to do away with all these lifestyle diseases and embrace health in our individual bodies and our collective bodies, i.e., the human society?
Unluckily, these 7 chakras have their harmful affects on your life almost permanently, individually as well as institutionally.
Let’s examine what all they do to us, to you and to your life...
How 7 Chakras Harm Your Life
Do you ever wonder how you live your life and why you live it the way you do?
Are you happy with it?
I am not.
Don’t take me wrong. I am very happy with my ordinary life at my personal level the way I live.
You could also be very happy with your life at your personal level the way you live.
What I am not happy with is the way we ALL live in relationship with one another. What I am not happy with is how much better I could have lived with all the people around me living as good a life as their desire along with their potential to live it was.
Let me clarify.
You are born with an almost unconditioned mindset. You learn whatever your environment teaches you in your life. You are also born with your instinctual pattern that determines what your drives are going to be like.
your environment comprises mainly the people surrounding you. They overtly or covertly keep teaching you as you keep growing older and bigger in your life.
They teach you wrong, simply because they had learned it wrong too.
They teach you everything that goes contrary to your instinctual pattern.
Your life loses authenticity.
They teach you to win even if at the cost of your fellow-beings. Your instinctual pattern drives you to play with them.
Your life turns competitive and stressful.
They teach you to keep safe. Your instinctual pattern drives you to explore adventures.
Your life turns robotic and fearful.
They teach you to follow protocols. Your instinctual pattern drives you to be spontaneous.
Your life turns artificial.
They teach you to control and hide impulses. Your instinctual pattern drives you to express them.
Your life turns secretive.
They teach you to shun your curiosity and follow the regimen. Your instinctual pattern drives you to go curious and explore.
Your life turns conforming like dead wo/men walking.
They teach you to be efficient and utile. Your instinctual pattern drives you to be creative even if at the cost of efficiency and utility.
Your life loses passion of living.
They teach you to be honest. Your instinctual pattern drives you to be authentic whether it is honest or dishonest.
Your life turns moralistic.
They teach you to be a part of the rat race. Your instinctual pattern drives you to run for fun.
Your life loses the fun of living.
They teach you to be successful. Your instinctual pattern drives you to be meaningful.
Your life turns corrupt in order to be successful at any cost.
They teach you to believe. Your instinctual pattern drives you to ask.
Your life turns into a follower instead of being your own leader.
They teach you to conform. Your instinctual pattern drives you to question everything as you turn adult.
Your life never lets you stand on your own feet.
They try their best to turn you into absolutely predictable virtual robots. Your instinctual pattern drives you to be unpredictably spontaneous real humans.
The two sides of the forces contradict with each other and fragment your mind-body system in two antagonistic fragments, the two always keeping fighting with each other all through your life.
It keeps generating stress even when you are not doing anything stressful in your life.
It defeats you. And it defeats your life.
It’s not only about you and your life. It’s true about all of us.
It has been a chain of mistakes that we have kept repeating through the centuries. It has almost become a vicious circle now.
As it stands today, closed sociocultural chakras have blocked the human energy right at the lowest level of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, namely physiological and safety needs.
Where did we go wrong in the very beginning and why?
Fear made us compromise when we felt helpless, in order to preserve our species against the attacks from the cruelties of nature.
In the course of time, we were able to preserve our species, but fear didn’t leave us free. It rather turned into greed, aggression, ambition and the desire to control.
We turned into the most dangerous animal on the planet, dangerous not only for the other species but for our own as well.
We killed our own fellow-beings in the name of war and called it patriotism.
We replaced our instinctual drives with narrow emotions. Emotions always serve narrow interests. They can never be as wide as instinctual drives.
Today we have become victims to our own aggression against our own self. Our minds are suppressing their own instinctual drives. And they are doing it in the name and for the sake of the most elusive concept called progress.
We have become obsessed with eccentric progress, unable to realize that we have gone regressed in our minds and our drives which could have paved our path to organic progress much ethical and insightful.
We have almost reached the edge of the point of no return from the harmful effects of human-induced climate change.
We over-exploited our planet’s resources, without giving it back what we took from it. Earth wants to take everything back now.
We have become victims to keep doing violence on our own self all through our life.
That’s the way we live our life courtesy our body chakras as well as our sociocultual chakras.
That’s the way you live your life courtesy your body chakras as well as your sociocultual chakras.
We are doomed to live with them.
There must be a way out somehow!
What do YOU think?
We will discuss further about it and other important aspects of our life and our society in our next posts here.
